Is my WB o2 shot?
 

jumped in my car yesterday and looked at my LM-1 and the display only reads 20.8%O2 and the little bar at the bottom just flashes. is that tellin my my O2 is fucked? i havent tried to recalibrate it or anything yet.

funny thing is that im using that o2 sensor in place of my stock one and im running the anolog output to the ecu. and the weird thing is, that my car is running fine?! if my o2 took a ---- wouldnt my car be running like pooh since its my only o2 sensor at the moment?

yea im gonna try that after work....its funny cause i would think if the sensor was bad then i would make my car run like ----. since its the only o2 sensor that im running right now. i dont understand how the display would be out of wack but the signal that the ecu is recieving is still good enough to make the car run...weird. i just ordered another one just cuz.

its either in calibration mode, or you are running pretty damn lean and its reading % o2 instead of a/f ratio. ive been going through this the past 2 weeks, so i know exactly what you mean. plus, i just saw that you are running lean at idle. to get my turbo ls to run and idle decent i had to add like 40 % fuel to the idle portion of the map, so on the low cam table my values at idle are in the the low 40's(with 550 cc injectors). just try adding a decent amount of fuel to idle and see if it helps, i know for me its the only way i could get the car working well

yea im going to add in some fuel tonight and see if i can get that to work. i should be able to. but the o2 thing. i think its fucked. i tried to recalibrate it on my lunch break and its still acting the same. i called the vw dealer and they have the correct sensor in stock for 50 bones so im gonna go pick that up after work. at least that will tell me for sure if its the sensor! anyways i will post back later.
