My first attempt at making a basemap in Crome

Could some of you guys check this out and see if it's any good or if it's just complete garbage?
I'm trying to make a base map for my f22a1 turbo project.

http://www.savefile.com/files/9322338

I'm using dsm 510cc injectors a tdo5h 16g6 of an 04 evo a gm 2 bar map sensor and a chipped p06 obd1 ecu.

I would appreciate any advice on it. I’m really close to having everything I need to install the turbo I just need a pipe bender and some 2.5” pipe for the charge pipe and some 3” for the exhaust.

do you have a wideband? if not, do you have easy access to one?

if your answer was no to both, then dont even use your own basemap, since you dont really know what you're doing.

there are basemaps for f22a's floating all around the internet.

Yeah I have an LM-1

ok. then go try it out. if you immidiately see it to be too lean, turn it off and go adjust.

its called street tuning.

but to start you off, the non boost portion is way too lean.

this is how an NA map looks.(f22a1 stock). its really the map for my f22b dohc, but the maps are NOT much differnt. its a lil richer in some spots, but not by much. even the timing is very similar.

Thanks man. Ive been looking for a stock f22 anything rom that I could actually open and look at.

i have much better roms on uberdata of my f22a1. it was running pretty damn good after about 3 days of wb tuning.

part throttle and idle were anywhere from 14.9-16.2, and wot i aimed for 13's.

timing is conservative, meaning pretty much stock.

*LoL* I actually already downloaded that na f22 uber file from xenocrons bin depository.

I just have a hard time with uberdata. Is uber worth learning to use? I wish I was better with it it has free datalogging.

But I imported the maps from that f22b rom into a p30 base and added boost tools fuel tools and setup my injectors size change it actualy looks way better than the first. I would post it up but the site I host my files on is down right now..Thanks for all your help I feel a little more sure of myself now.

use xenocron, or attatch it to your post.

and uberdata is not that hard to learn. its not much different than crome. the fuel/timing values are the same. its pretty easy and shouldnt take much time to learn since you already have some tuning knowledge.

I guess I'll try messing with uberdata some more then. But I started over completely on my basemap using that f22b rom you gave ma and I followed Xenocrons crome startup guide.

When using the fuel multiplier should I change the new engine size to 2156 for the f22 or is that important?

Here's the new base rom attempt this one really should work.

Ive been searching and reading on here honda tech and pgmfi.org for months but I can't really find much on tuning the ignition tables except " if it's knocking stop and retard the timing. their has to be somethings to go by people tune cars well on the street all the time. Basically I'd just like some advice on tuning timing.

Re: My first attempt at making a basemap in Crome

yea, people usually tune timing on the dyno. if you're not on the dyno, then cant really tell what you'er doing. i mean, you could be knocking but not be able to hear it. thats why you gota make it really rich.

and no, i never mess with the engine size thingamijig.

*edit*

looks alright, but its still lean at idle. i mean, on mine I had the values in the 40's and it was around 14.2ish afr.

but i was using stock injectors, so that could also be why you're is leaner. go ahead and just try it out. if its too lean, then that means the rest is too lean.
