first: if you are not clever in hot air. never try to use it.
second : you need a solder sucker to get the solder of the board., or you need some copper wires to catch the solder with.
third: try your skill in any damage board and when you feel cool go ahead and fix what you damage and dont forget to use the flex
forth: afater fininshing chek the solder not be toutching themselves. and clean the board with any gas spray or with the fuel which in your tank.

looks like u used really crappy/old solder and tips

get some braid and dab off any splatters

id re solder everything but them long leads touching the ecu case is just a bone head move

R54 wouldn't have made a difference. J1 is already cut. and still gettig solid cel when J1 is cut. I think I fried something when the capacitor touched the metal case. This ecu is fucked...
