The holley FPR came in today its on, and the car pegged the dyno here at school today it is an old 200HP max dyno but it smacked the needle. We got the afr set nicely using the rollers and the 5 gas sniffer, and turning the MAF. I know its kinda Ghetto, but it works until i can get the megasquirt put togeather for him.

Central Missouri State University.

How does turning the maf help?? I mean I know it did help, but i dont understand why

the coolant hose busted beacuse we were taking it on and off during the build and it got weak so it spruung a leak. The turbo is only oil cooled and I cant talk my friend into getting an oil cooler. We had to relocate the filter already so the turbomaniflod would fit and he wont get some extra hose and a small cooler. And the head studs are arp beacuse a while back when he kept pukeing head gaskets the arp studs fixed it

hmmm...but isnt the air heated by the turbo, the MAF is after the turbo on our setup. Does it really change that much from the top to the bottom of the charge pipe?

Which maf is it? I have a setup that is similar to what link described. At idle it is like 15.7 or something. As soon as you are on it, it drops to 12 and hits a bit below at peak torque.
Set your fp at 38 psi vacuum off.
Your maf must be calibrated for your injectors if you do not use a chip. Even if you have a lightning maf (which used 42s-the stock calibration for that is in the ecu).
My pro M 75 mm NA calibration was set up well from Pro M. Worked without adjustment. I would also suggest a different dyno. You are going to break those rollers on a 200 hp one! Seriously, how accurate could that be for a turbo 5.0?

we have the FPR set at 40 for now, we will tune it down later, and we are still hitting 12.5s on the AFR but only like 9 something at idle, we cant see to adjust the idle mixture no matter how hard we try. but the second it sees any kind of throttle it jumps up. The maf is for the 42 LBS injectors. As for the dynos its a break dyno so it only reads when breaking, we are mainly using it for the rollers and the wideband output. we arent making any power runs, we just did that one for fun to see what it would do. Its driving around and haveing some idle problems, but other than that its fine.
