Anyone got the instructions for the btm install on a y7 its part number 5462. I got the ones from the jackson racing install for the EF's. But not sure how that relates to newer systems.

 

i'm having the same problem, the only instructions i got were for fords and ---- like that.

 

Ok well I installed my AFC and BTM today. Went to crank the car and it just turned over. Appears to not be sparking. Anyway my wiring is as follows: tapped yellow and black wire with the msd red wire. White and Blue wire Attached to the MSD white wire. Orange wire to coil Negative. It might be my white and blue/white wire. I think it got caught in the cap and maybe got pulled apart. Dunno I guess I'll check tomorrow im exhausted. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas/tips.

blind when you installed your BTM. did you have to hook any of the wires up to the battery + and - ??

 

Nah. It has a red wire that you tap to the coil's 12v. And a black ground wire that connects to a ground point.

 

Well I double checked everything and the ****** isnt working still.. leaned my settings, and richened them. Any ideas? I need help. :\
