MSD 6BTM question

I just bought a new/used MSD 6BTM off egay at a pretty good price. Anyways the seller said it came off his Dodge and i was thinking that all the 6BTM's were universal. Well on the ignition box it is labeled Dodge V10/Viper, and the instructions are for a dodge and talking about wiring in at the crank angle sensor from the ecu. I have a OBD1 harness can i still follow the instructions on c-speed racing for the installation and install it through the dizzy?

Curious why that was on a Dodge? unless it had a blower or was fi?

The msd 6 series is universal. Assuming this came off a V8 you will need to do the cylinder select, there is this little black circular thing ontop of the unit, take it off and slice the red and blue wire (this sets it up for 4cyl mode)

Here is the general instructions

And for the 6btm just hook up the control connector and run it inside, and give the unit a boost reference off the intake manifold.
