Default MS2 or Crome

I am getting ready to makesome ITBs for my B16a1, and was wondering the better managment for the job. Should i convert to OBD1 and buy Crome, or take the big step and go full standalone with the MS2. I am doing alot of research and having trouble deciding, any info or advise would be helpful. before you say anything about it, I have someone to tune eather of them.

ms2? megasquirt?

It just seems easier to go Crome to me, and just as effective. Megasquirt appeals to me more in non-honda applications.

yeah ms2 = megasquirt 2 the full standalone version, I know crome will be easier, but i feel that MS2 would be more tuneable

Ya.. Crome will be easier to tune, and give you better support anyway.

If you go MS2 I have all the maps you could need for that exact setup.

Thats cool there was a guy in St. Louis that has them posted online for his ITBs, I dont think he has gone full standalone, but might be by the time i am done. I still have to wait for new MS2 kits to become available before i could start if i go that way

yeah...that is my car! The MS is still just running the fuel but will be converted to spark this summer in conjunction with my new LS bottom end. I have used the MS2 board for about a week and didn't particularly like it. It was picking up some wierd interference off the ignition and the gas milage was really bad for some reason. I am now running the latest MS-extra code and like it a lot, and it gets 40mpg on the highway!
