Megasquirt Hires Code updated: Now with antilag
 

Well im pretty excited about this, im unsure how well it will work for me tho. Ive been running the hi res code for 2 years and im happy with it. Antilag was coded in recently even tho the code is a few years old. It does work, ive seen videos and it seems to be a milde true antilag system as it pops when the throttle is released.

My problem for me is that with EDIS im not 100% sure it will work right since i cant retard past 10degrees and I have a manual IAC and MS is using pwm idle valves with the ALS. I'm not sure waht the pwic has to do with als yet but im told it should still work.

TRUE anti-lag involves dumping fuel and pumping air into the exhaust manifold while retarding timing.

On dsm's the 'anti-lag' features dont seem effective unless your cranking it back to about 15 degrees, even then a large turbo will give you fits tweeking it.

Porsche runs 15-20 degrees on the newest Mseries engines with their launch control.

They have code for both launch control and ALS. The Launch control works with a clutch switch and when the throttle plate is open. The ALS actually works with the throttle plate closed, ill try it in spring the cars in storage lol .

That's not drag car spool the big turbo when you launch anti-lag, that's spool off idle rally car anti-lag that shits turbos like babies ---- diapers.

Uhm, no thanks. I'm glad there are people who want and need that sort of thing, but I personally can't afford it. Post vids, tho. :y

code in a rpm delta with the offset and mph shutoff you want from your stock rev limiter if youre worried about spooling, and find a way to make it spark cut vs fuel cut
