Map sensor voltages

i found a table on hondatech stating what voltage was what pressure on the standard honda map sensor but cannot find it again, i need this for the user input on my zeitronix, help anyone?

Re: Map sensor voltages

turn your key on, engine off...start up your zeitronix datalogging software to see your voltage at 0vac....Mine was 2.75v. Your`s may be different due to altitude.

Re: Map sensor voltages

that gives me a base for the high end of the scale, but i dont know what the voltage is at high vacuum, so it wont be able to interpolate and give me the correct value

Re: Map sensor voltages

ok....

How about what your vac is @ idle? Idle is going to be high vac obviously...

.1v = 1" of vac so here`s what I got:

0 vac = 2.75v
1" = 2.65v
2" = 2.55v
3" = 2.45v
4" = 2.35v
5" = 2.25v
6" = 2.15v
7" = 2.05v
8" = 1.95v
9" = 1.85v

and so on.

Oh yeah, I had a thread like this awhile ago...I just went ahead and figured it out on my own. Wasn`t that hard.

Well pgmfi is a nice site and all, but according to MY CAR it is 2.75...As I said previously this number KOEO may be different depending on different variables. I am not trying to argue this.

You should find the number for KOEO on YOUR CAR before you do any tuning because you want to be as accurate as possible...because you are tuning YOUR CAR...right?

...I am right or am I way out in left field here...jesus christ buy a clue and tune your car already.

only saying what i read, i'm not mad keen on ------- my car up. The reason i put that is because the code that is written in the ECU will extract a fuel value dependant upon RPM and MAP pressure as I'm sure you are aware, BUT, this value is determined by the fact that at 0 in/Hg the MAP sensor should read a set voltage, this voltage will not be car specific otherwise Honda would have had to individually map every car that came off of the production line. So in theory if my map sensor is reading 2 volts KOEO it will be looking for a fuel value in the mid to low vacuum area of the fuel map. Do you see why I am slightly concerned? I guess I have figured out what I am going to do though, thanks for the help
