When you start running a bit more boost, you may still get a CEL, I've had to put 3-4 check valves on some applications we've done in the past.. Its ghetto, but it works!

 

i'm only running 8 psi and no CELs... don't plan on boosting any higher, don't wanna snap any rods on my stock motor.

 

It's an LS, and fairly stout. If you had better fuel/ignition controls... if I were you... I'd run about 12 psi and drive everywhere with the middle finger of my left hand extended out the drivers side window.
