MAP sensor question

Hello.

I was given a map sensor that i donīt have any info on.
I know that itīs a 244P from honeywell but i canīt find the technical details.
I mesured the voltage output with it just polarized. It gives me 1,6v.
Can anyone tell me what map i have?

What should be the voltage, when just mesuring outside car?
Thanks!

My best

Re: MAP sensor question

2.5 bar is 1.85 volts at Atmospheric

3 Bar might be 1.6v

Re: MAP sensor question

Do you see any advantage for me to use it?
I could try and use turboedit with ng55 / 3bar map.
What do you think?

The changes that it will do to my tune are just what needs to be calculated by the software or do i have to re-tune my maps with the wb?
I guess that the tuning process should be more precise with a 3bar.

In ecucontrol boost gauge i see more than 10psi, so i guess i should plug it.

should i know something before pluging it?

Re: MAP sensor question

According to the Wiki entry, 1.6V -> 3 bar sensor.

And, check your sapo.pt address. :)

Re: MAP sensor question

It could be nice to make a post with diferent maps and voltages.

Iīll try to figure it out and make it...
