The original batch were recalled a long time ago. He probably read old info. They were all fixed for free. If the unit is that old, they will still fix it for free probably provided the serial number matches with the bad batch.

I have an innovative lc1 worked for 3 months, then the either the control unit or the sensor died, now its sitting in a box, in my room. I bought a used aem uego and that has worked fine for me, display gauge type, fast reading and works wit ectune perfect.

Zeitronix, been running ti for 2+ years, easy to use, upgradeable, and if you give a ---- about customer service, they're great.
