Lookin for someone to burn/send me a map for $
 

Hey guys, im going to be putting my ihi turbo on my y8 swap pretty soon here. i have a pr4 that i installed a ZIF socket in and im really diggin all this custom ecu editing! I however do not have the slightest idea how to use the programs myself. Im looking for a safe way to run my setup with my ecu. My setup will be:
1991 civic DX 3 dr
98 d16y8 motor with DX tranny
walbro 225lph fuel pump
dsm 450's
IHI rhb5 turbo with HF mani
my ecu with custom map
what im really looking for is a sohc vtec map so i can have the stock fuel/ignition maps for my motor, but tuned for a turbo (retarded timing and made for the 450's) can anyone help me out here. should my setup run pretty well/safe. any info would be great, tahnks soory for the long post.

I were in your boat couple of weeks ago, but the different thing is I acutally did a lot of research and study. And now i'm ready to burn my own stuff, i just ordered all my stuffs two weeks ago. So I suggest you do a lot of reading before anything else.

If i knew how much VTEC affected VE i would burn you a map based on what i have tuned for my d16a6 for cheap, but i dont want to and have you blow your engine.

what you need to do is go do some reasearch and buy some eeproms, a prom burner and do your own tuning like the rest of us. its way more fun that way ;D

i plan on it, but i dont want to risk screwing my nice new motor over first off esxperimenting with knowledge. i would like someone to make me a chip that knows exactly what they are doing so there is no doubt it is good.

man go to the uberdata forum and lookup how to make a basemap for boost...its not that hard. Or just use someone else's map for now.

He can't use uberdata, hes OBD0. He needs TechEdit.

how is he obd0 with a d16y8? He is probably using an obd1 p28.

you can bolt a a6 dist right onto a y8.

yeah im obd0 i have the a6 distrib and like i said before a pr4 with a ZIF socket. can you guys give me some links to other peoples maps to download or does anyone have one they could send me?
