well i just got my injectors in today after a lengthy wait... the plastic tips are cracked and one is melted, WTF!? would you use this in your new TURBO set up?? i'm hesitant.. am i just trippen or does it looked fucked?

they should be fine. just clean them up with some gasoline or acetone, take that rubber bung off the shoulder of the injector to clean em.

 

those rx-7 injectors? they look like *** man...but i bt thy will work

 

can i just completely remove the cracked plastic that covers the tip (pintle?) and toss'em. id hate for them to break apart and drop into the chambers?

yeah u can remove the pintle caps, they are just for protection from dropping them.

DONT drop them once those are off.. or your SOL.

i got 450cc injectors for sale if you want 50 bucks in good condition

 

as long as the tip of the injector itself isnt damaged you should be good. wire wheel works well to clean them up. i make old injectors look brand new with mine.
