You have an IS200? Please tell me your motor came in the car, and that you didnt swap it.

Im not trying to be rude, but the 1g is a waste of time if your wanting to make anything more than 250hp and have it live for more than a few minutes. Yes there are ppl with big #'s running 1g's but it takes too much to make that kind of power and isnt worth it when 2jz are so cheap...

Whats your situation? I assume you want to boost it?

swap isnt a big option here in germany
2jz are ------- expensive here + its illegal + its to heavy

I wish i could do a 3s-ge Beams swap, but to expensive (more then the car cost)

sure i wanna boost it :P ------->HMT?

Try a country the 1G-GTE was produced for. Americans can't help you there.

Engine swaps aren't illegal in Germany or else Leroy wouldn't have a built B-series in a Civic.

Just like every other toyota the rods really arent the problem. The problem is that folks usually dont invest any time/money into tuning and the proper control. Guys who ---- the rods out are making low-hp #'s and have detonation from the word go. Lack of tuning.

2JZ are in the sub-$500 range here in the states.

2JZ-GE for $250 is common. It's a distributor engine, so MS can't help you there unless you cough up a set of coil packs.

2jz from the IS 300

~3000dollar without harness, tranny etc and thats cheap here

with illegal i mean
the base car must come with this engine, so only a lexus 2jz is an option

puting a b16 is no problem cause we have the eg6 straight from the dealer
and after swap i must do a brake upgrade which means alot $$$$ again

but 250$ sounds hot

B16 is a worthless ****** engine. Leroy's car does not have one of those.

Engine swaps are not illegal, or not enforced, my friend. I guess there is a language barrier, you aren't grasping nuances.
