The LC-1 comes with a status LED that you have to wire up to the controller. You can choose to mount it anywhere if you are doing a permanent install. If you do a mobile setup then you will have to figure out a good way to package the LED and the calibrate button.

CSaddict set his mobile unit up like this along with a digital display so that you don't have to have the laptop hooked up to the wideband to have an A/F display.

There is also a write up on the net about using a cigarette lighter power adapter and wiring the controller into it to make a mobile setup minus a display.
