Ok i figured out why it wouldnt let me connect earlier. I dont know if its just my computer or what. If i have the program running and then i unhook the serial cable it want let me connect the next time unless i do these steps in this order.

*restart the computer
*connect the serial cable
*power on the lc-1
*then connect and start watching the afr readings

When it was giving me trouble it was because i had never restarted my computer since the last time i had unhooked the serial cable from my laptop. I had just tried to hook the serial cable back up and go at it, but it does not work that way . Is this normal?
