Default jason parker, are you out there

hey guys, im soon to be installing my turbo on my hatch and im getting my fuel management together. i have a chipped obd0 pr4 ecu currently in the car. I have a folder on my computer of maps and bins i have aquired along the way and i just found one called BoostedZ6Maps. I opened turbo edit, opened ng26, then imported those maps. The little description the map importer gives you about the maps says "Ignition map has 1 static degree of retard per effective pound of boost. Fuel maps have vtec crossover at 4400 rpms. Maps were tuned by Jason Parker." Now if i burned what i just did in turbo edit, onto a chip, would that conrol 450 CC injectors for me or would i need to set the vafc at -40% still to do that? Anyone know anything abou these maps?

the maps are probably already tuned for 450cc.

check the injector size property.

Well, I do a lot of maps..

I don't remember them off the top of my head. If they are full resolution boost maps, (30x17 grid) and the vac to boost transistion is about 6-7ms, then it looks like it's scaled for 450 injectors already.

..however, I don't know of any maps are compatible with the new versions of TE that _I_ have done and released. Hrm..

Are you using an old version? If so, it was probably tuned on code that was doing some funky things, and won't run the same on the current code.

(That is why I disabled the use of all previous map import/exports of old version of TE unto 2.0.1x versions)

so if its incompatible with the new version of TE, it will load up correctly in TE but when u burn it on a chip it wont work in the car? i cant find the injector size property....

If it's on a codebase (.bin file) that opens in TurboEDIT 2.0.11 (Try11) then it will run fine.

If you re using an old version of TE to open it, then Upgrade to the new version. If it still works, you're fine... but chances are, it won't.
