J12 and hulog
2 Attachment(s)
ok, so i've finally got my cherry popped and i'm starting to do this tuning thing. so far, i have learned a ton...thats another thread though. :1
im having problems datalogging with freelog. I believe that "J12" isnt cut on my board, but im not finding a ------- j12 anywhere. Some people say its labled "j2", some say "j4", some say it doesn't need to be cut, some say it only needs to be cut for boost cut on UD...way to many people saying way to many different things. where is this J12 and is this it? Also, by cutting it, I just break it in half with some wire snips? ohh yeah, P30 is my ECU... Attachment 25010 and another thing, I wanna make sure my hulog is installed the right direction. Ive read, its not uncommon for people to put it in upside down. Attachment 25011 one more thing, anyone know when PGMFI is going to be back up and running solid? Not having that wiki really blows... Thanks, Frank |

Re: J12 and hulog
Yes it needs to be cut for everything except uberdata to datalog.Heres another thread on it that describes where it's it and even someone with the exact same problem your having with it and freelog
http://forum.pgmfi.org/viewtopic.php...t=jdm+p30++ecu Yes you can just snip it. Your right, it's not uncommon for people to get the datalogging pin header backwards,my first time it was backwards for about a week of me trying everything before I realized it was that.If your header on the ecu is numbered like usdm ones it needs to go like this black= ground pin 1 white= tx pin 2 (pin 3 blank) red= rx pin 4 (pin 5 blank) I think that covered everything. |
Re: J12 and hulog
yeah, I just messed around with it for a good while tonight...
Now I have a ------- CEL 4 (crank position sensor) and the bitch is in limp mode. >:( |
Re: J12 and hulog
Cut J4 in JDM ECUs.
Check your distributor wiring and make sure nothing is loose... |
Re: J12 and hulog
