Re:itb tuning

probably not...TE only supports the stock PR3 maps/code.

It's not a limitation of an ECU as to why stock Honda ECUs have a lot of trouble with ITBs.

IT's the MAP points on the fuel and ignition maps. ITBs read different vacuum readings. Not to mention the TPS signal is normally way off, unless you fabbed a Honda TPS sensor, a la Jeff.

Anyway, to answer your question, TE _can_ support ITBs, but you'll not be able to use a PR3/PW0. You'll need to the NG series ROMs, and get with Dave Blundell to work out your MAP points.

Unless you fab up a vacuum canister so that you can pull normal vacuum pressures for your MAP sensor.

werd. A vacuum log goes a long way. Ive done ITB's on a MAP before and you must have map trace or a vacuum gauge hooked up. It takes some time, but can be done. Ive also done it with the TPS ran into the MAP pin and it worked out pretty dam good. ended up with more resolution to work with.
If it was my car and I was to run ITB's on a daily driver, Id go to OBD1 and the new pgmfi MAP/TPS blending code that is supported w/ CROME. Pretty cool stuff, I cant wait to try it out.
