itb tuneing
I have gsxr 1300 itbs and i was told they take alot of tuneing. I just wanna hear about someone who has run them and what they used to tune...please help me out

crome is a good start as they have ITB tools built in.. i am sure either chris has dealt with tuniing problems with them.. chris (xenocron) or chris M (hybrid foum mod) maybe beneficial to you to PM either of them and pick there brain a bit

sticker is WRONG... :3 mine was tuned on CROME PRO and he didnt seem to have much trouble tuning it. probably took a third of the time as my turbo motor... |

The hard part (for me at least) on a ITB car is making sure the fucker starts/idles cold, and doesnt do wierd ---- based on IAT/ECT trims. Id recommend using CROME 1.2.5, and the included ITB tools. Make sure you get the TPS set correctly for the appropriate decel-fuel-cutoff point, and you should be golden. |

Ryan...if you're going to use them on my old obd0 b16, BRE's newest release has ITB tools in the options menu. There is also a table to adjust tps voltage to whatever that gsxr tps sensor puts out, so in a way it's almost plug and play to get up and running. You will have to disable the IACV control though, as Leed said...the hardest part is keeping it at idle on a cold start. Just raise the idle rpm up to 1000 or a bit higher and you should be ok.

The ones I have installed I have just plugged the iacv and let it hang. Dual throttle body set up on h23 was a little odd to get idle right. Turbohf if you that bin from your motor pm me will make my life 20x easier. ITB sound cool in reality they are kind of a headache. Vtec crossover will even make your grandma smile.
