Don't know who you're talking about. I'm here to share and learn.

I talked with a couple dudes who were very helpful when I first tried this and they both told me to spam the ---- out of this info because all the new "DIY tuners" coming for bmw are still going to cost a minimum of 350 and have all sorts of file protection and bullshit. I can easily make money off this but I would rather enjoy the ---- out of my car (and I think I might cop another in the future) so I would like to see more people blow ---- up, learn, and develop a better tuner program... in a few years I envision you polesmokers lining up with 325/525i's at the light instead of crx's

I made an eHow article since not everything on hmt is well taken to by the bmw crowd lol... I made sure to ride xenocron's dick in it and plugged his site like it was paris hiltons gaping anus. Enjoy. http://www.ehow.com/how_4807313_tune-obd-bmw.html

If anyone knows anyone with a BMW link them to it... but more importantly someone who might like bmw's and knows hex, or disassembly processes...that's what ruined me =\ and I just have no time to learn anything besides stupid rhetoric for the next few years :1

You do realize that the 2JZ cylinder head flow rates are "adequate" at best? It doesnt make all that stupid power because the heads flow, it makes it because it has a crazy efficient combustion chamber, and the bottom end is chiseled from a solid chunk of granite. Ie it takes whatever sort of boost you throw at it and wants more. Same idea behind the 4g63.

Dont get me wrong, I likes me some bimmer, but it kinda sounds like your inflating them a bit in the engine management dept.

It's fun to read the plugs in one with a failing fuel pump. 17 psi, 14.3-14.8 AFRs, still pulls hard, plugs look clean and there are no micropings on the piston surfaces just a smooth healthy unblemished carbon coat across the crown. You start swapping widebands around because that's obviously your problem. Right?

I am afraid the 2JZ may not be chiseled out of a solid chunk of granite, the magic is the combustion chamber is four times more efficient than anything heretofore known to mankind.

Its all just straight bosch stuff like VW and alot of other euro and asian cars have. As far as cost is minimal unless your getting into major drivetrain stuff.

Sorry to revive a old thread but if anyone could give me some input on this id be grateful.

I have a 95 325I with a 413 dme. I was wondering if I ran low boost, less than 10, would I be able to run the enginge stock software wise just for awhile til funds become available and until I understand the WAR chip tuning? I already have everything I need to do the build except the tune so I'm holding off. Also if I were to go this route would the maf be better located in the charge piping (blow through I believe is the correct term) or from the atmosphere, maf, turbo inlet? Thanks!

I doubt anyone will see this, considering the number of years it has been idle.
turbo22r, do you still have those old tuning files?
