I have a 91' Civic HB with a JDM ZC motor swap with a bunch of other crap I don't feel like typing down but I ordered my AFC last week cause it was one of the last things I needed before I put my turbo on. The install wasn't that bad except I didn't know that the instructions Apexi gives you in the thick book are out dated and you're suppose to go on the internet and get the new ones cause three wires are 1 prong over on the ECU pin out with the new instructions ( I found this out after I had already wired it up and was going to turn my car on but I called Apexi to make sure I hooked everything up right before turning it on.. good thing I did. Also let me say the people at Apexi were cool as hell and very helpful unlike some other high up companies ). The instruction manual I read all 45 pages and learned nothing I didn't already know. It was very vague not to helpful luckly my friend just so happen to come over and he has alot of experience with the AFC and showed my what to do. It's simple and not as bad as I thought some people were making it out to be. Although the LCD Blue vacuum screen attracts alot of attention at night time. It's mounted on my dash BUT everytime I park my car I take the AFC off the stand and stick it in my glove box to keep unwanted attention away ( just put vellcrow on one side of the AFC and on the stand ). I've messed with it alittle even though I'm still N/A but I can't wait to start to tune it with the turbo. Any of you EF ( civic/CR-X's ) owners out there with D series motors that want to know hwo-to wire it up just send me a I.M. )
