inline pump w/ fuel cell

i'll be running a fuel cell in my race car. i've been looking for an inline pump to run with it. i've found a few on ebay, like this one - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33555

this would be used as the only pump in the system. 450cc injectors and about 225 whp. any input? how much flow should i be looking for?

I'll be using a fuel cell on my EK as well...

I would figure any 255lph would supply adequate fuel for any setups we would need.

Considering my bone stock in-tank supported 12psi of boost fine.

remember they PUSH fuel not pull so it must be gravity fed.

very true, i think i may also need to get a primer for it ;) but only after refilling a completely empty tank

Re:inline pump w/ fuel cell

or just mount it @ the bottom of the tank. :)

Well, "aftermarket" fuel cells (mass produced) have the fuel lines that come from the bottom anyway..

Mine does anyway... I'll snap pictures of it tonight.

some have a nipple on the top also, is that just a vent?

i think i might buy this one
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWA%3AIT

what does it mean by saying "foam filled"?

Re:inline pump w/ fuel cell

it means that inside the cell is filled with stuff that is almost like a sponge so if u turn the car over or get a hole in the cell it won't spill no where near as fast.

Re:inline pump w/ fuel cell

even if you have those holes there you will want to have the pump mounted BELOW that level. Remember liquids always want to find the same level.
