Injectors & ECU
After successfully completing my Accord f22 build, I have been searching around for another Accord to convert mine to a stick. I found a guy locally here in town, and he's willing to part with it, so I want to chip the ECU and put in some bigger injectors or use the VAFC I have lying underneath my bed.
I've searched around, and want to know what to use for injectors? 450cc's low impedance or peak & hold injectors? Also, what ECU's are available that would be able to work with my setup? I will probably chip it myself. I'm running around 8lbs of boost at the moment with the FMU, and have decided I want to invest more into the car, especially fuel management. Anyone's take? |

Keep searching.

I'm not quite sure what the ECU is, but I searched around and believe it's a POA? Blah. :S |
Re: Injectors & ECU
I don't think they can be chipped though. I know a couple of my friends just ran chipped p06 for their turbo'd accords.

Re: Injectors & ECU
I was reading that others were using a P28 ECU that works wonderfully in the Honda Accord. I'm probably going to go with one of those and chip it myself.
Injectors - I have a resistor box, but wondering how big of injectors and what type like peak & hold or saturated? DSM's? RC's? I'm probably going to get new ones on this hence, I don't want to fiddle with any used ----. How many CC's? My goal is to successfully tune my Accord with boost set at 10 PSI with the auto to stick conversion done. I should have the trans and car in less than a month. |
Re: Injectors & ECU
i would go with the chipped ecu and trashe that ---- called a vafc.get a good base map and go have it tuned. |
