they won't go out of business.

they're still kicking the freeware world's ass but their profit margin wont be so high.

Hondata has the new K-Series pro so they will be around for a while. I dont think they will be doing much with Obd-1 anymore though.

It's all about the K-series...prices on OBD1 Hondata have dropped drastically in the Honda-Tech classifieds lately

I'm thinking that Doug realized it was only a matter of time.

Best, also, does not translate to Hondata.

There are A LOT of commercial systems that own Hondata.

EMS, Haltek, Motec, FAST... blah blah blah.

Hondata is still restricts themselves to factory ECUs. Therefore, you're restircted by hardware that was not "meant" to do what we are trying to do with it.

It's limited. This includes, Uberdata, TurboEDIT, whatever..

*BUT*, There are a _very_ select few on this board that would need anything as advanced as those systems. Uberdata, Hondata, TurboEDIT.. blah blah blah.. they will work fine for the systems that we'd have here.

until you have an h22 in a g2 integra, custom intake manifold, corvette coil packs, and a massive turbo, you'll be fine with the stock ECU.
