idle loops after tune (uberdata)

my car was tuned with uber and my car idles normal (high like 2k) when cold, and normal(like 500rpms) when warm but in between somewhere when its not all the way cold or hot it loops, idles goes up and down between 1k and 2k somewhere.
any ideas?

oh ya its a y8 with dsm 450s

it was tuned off a basemap from SOHC_MShue

check your timing and fuel at idle
i bet your cold fuel multiplier needs reducing
2k cold idle is only normal in subzero weather

i read somewhere that changing the fuel cut value in the boost tab from 24 to 14 helps idle i was idling at 1000rpm but i had a cel

what it idles at when its warm or cold isint really the problem. i want to know why it bounces when its in between.

the tuner was more of a hondata tuner and didnt really seem to like using uber. but they were impressed with how flat my a/f was after.

Switch to CROME. It will save you many headaches and is 100x easier to tune. I can street tune cars in 30min flat with CROME. Uber's implementation of its code is seriously fucked. CROME cuts into the stock code much cleaner and thus doesn't mess up so much of the stock code.

my basemap was a uberdata file, so i guess thats why it was tuned off it, i didnt tune it and dont really know ---- about tunning.

today when my car was half warm doing the wierd idle up and down ----, i unpluged my coolant temp sensor and my idle went up to like 2.5k rpms but it was steady instantly, not up and down, (but my CEL came on obviously) could this be a cooling system related thing? maybe the fact i send the coolant to my turbo from the hose going to the TB ? i swaped out the sensor with one from my LS motor and it does the same idle up and down ----.

I have a idle problem with uberdata also and I cant seem to fix it. I cant get my idle to 750. but I can get it to 1100, but after a hard run it lopes really high from 1500 to 2500, its really annoying I tried to use crome but I get constant CEL no matter what I do. but other than that uberdata works great

yup, i was about to tell you to check your iacv. if the problem persists, check your fitv as well.( i duno if civics have those, i know h and f series do)

it could also be air bubbles in your cooling system.
