Default IACV Codes

What can cause an IACV code besides a bad sensor.

I have a friend trying to get a car up and running that he just swapped.

b18a LS in EG Hatch, virgin p28 ecu

would the obd0 iacv not run with the obd1 ecu?

get a multi meter and track it down to the source

eh it ended up being clogged or something i think, but he got it running.
