How would I know if I need a new fuel pump?

Well, after fooling around with my afc settings I richened up my mixture. And well I have no power at high rpms. It smells like Im running rich, but I have no power. Can someone explain this?

What about your timing.

well, if indeed you are running rich, you will lose power, it will bog down. why don't you try to take some fuel away at the to end? what are your settings?

sorry I haven't got back, had a shitload of midterms this week. Tired as hell, well I have been playing around with the settings. I thing I want to get an A/F guage instead of just smelling the exhaust. I was running -30% for the whole vtec band (VAFC hack with 450's on a b16 8 psi 14b dsm turbo) which was when it ran like ---- or stock I mean. I did have it at -35% and it ran like a possessed mofo, but someone said I was to lean. By the way these are all wide throttle.

-35 should not be too lean. Try to find a happy medium. If it is still building power you probably aren't leaning out. It is supposed to run like a "possessed mofo" ;)
