Re: how to use ostrich??

Make sure that uberdata can actually detect the ostrish (double check your settings). I have tested ostrich with TE, not uberdata but the concept should be the same. You first need to open the map that you're trying to use in uberdata and then choose upload under emulator menu. If the driver were correctly installed and uberdata configured right, your current map will be load to ostrish and you can start editing your map. You can also use TunerPro Rt to directly download a bin to ostrich.

ok thank u for ur help alot man!! Ok this is what happend. We used tuner pro rt and got are map from uberdata on it and got it running great but where is this emulator menu in uberdata?? I cant find it? We were trying to upload the map using uberdata straight to the ostrish without having to use something like tuner pro! Is that possible?

Hum, what version of uberdata are you using? If you're using 1.66, that's an older version and it's doesn't have ostrich support. I have 1.7 and 1.8 on my laptop and they both have that option.

Yes, if you're using the right version of uberdata.

Re: how to use ostrich??

There were a couples of version after 1.7 floating around at certain point of time on the uberdata forum, that's where I got it. From what I remembered, poeple were having some issues with 1.8 (not sure kind). Honestly uberdata hasn't been updated for ages that you might wanna consider crome maybe :-\.

Ostrich: How to, from uberdata forum. Happy reading.

A little bit of advice, whether you use crome/uberdata/turboedit always try to keep up with their respective forums.

just rock crome uber has way to many bugs. I have been running a ostrich with crome now for about a year with like zero problems other then getting it work right at first. just dl crome beta 1.8r2 or something like that. will link right up with the ostrich. as long as you have the proper usb or serial port setup. good luck.
