how much timing to retard???
 
i have a d16y7 just built with revolution rods and vitara with arp head studs. im running a 14b turbo now... how much timing should i retard per lb of boost??? im hoping to get 14b to 18 psi? thanks matt :6 :6 :y

.75 if you feel brave other wise 1.25 that what xeno big guide says (Read this 5x then try to tune) http://www.-------------/install/CromeGuide.htm

We had him tuned to 12psi on stock y7 and was using step retard with crome. Now with the vitara build being much lower compression can he retard less or do we have to leave it the same?

less comp gernerally means you can run more timing

anyone know how much more timing???? thanks for all info!! i going to run 1 dagree retard per lb of boost for now to be safe!! :6 :6
