how do you know if its set tot 10:1 after using the mbc?
or are you just testing with a wb?

fuel management unit, and manual boost controller. dunno if there's an FAQ around here, but the FMU is normally a kind of fuel pressure regulator that increases fuel pressure in relation to boost (intake pressure above atmospheric pressure), i.e. a 1:1 FMU (which would basically be any vacuum-referenced fuel pressure regulator (FPR, VRFPR) would increase fuel pressure 1 psi for each 1 psi of boost, and decrease 1 psi for each 1 psi of vacuum. An MBC, when connected between an intake manifold vacuum source and the turbo's wastegate, allows you to block any vac/boost signal to it, in other words allows you to actively set the boost at which the signal is allowed to pass through, in order to open the wastegate.
