How the hell do you get the bin from an EEPROM chip
I have a willem dual power chip burner. I have an EEPROM chip that has my current bin on it. I'm trying to pull the bin from the chip and save it to my computer. It reads and I can save it, I think I'm saving it, but when I go to open it in TE it doesn't work?
anybody know how to do this?

yeah get a burn1.
I use the willems also what chip are you using? you can read bins with the willem but I believe you have to move a jumper on it and select read in the willems software, its been along time since I've used the willems.
seriously the burn1 makes life 100x easier.

the sst chips have an offset cause they are twice the size honduh ecu's need. Basically the TE is looking for a file half the size of the file you downloaded. You need to open the bin in some sort of editor and delete the first half.
or email it to my screen name @ yahoo.com and I'll do it for you.

the at29c256's are the easy chips to use with the willems burner, when sst's started comming out thats when I bought the burn1 because I could never get the sst's to work right with the willems.
