how to get base map off chip to comp?
 

ok well im kinda familar with tuning with uberdata not from experience but from reading... i feel confidate i could tune with it with help from my wide band but what my problem is... I have a custom base map for my turbo setup from Xenocron.. Well since im planning to start to tune myself i was wondering since the current base map i have from his is pretty close to what i need is there a way to upload that exact base map from the chip to my labtop onto uberdata so i can just make minor changes to it?? I dont have a chip burner yet but im gonna get one in the next couple weeks but can they read chips and upload the info to my labtop or can i just burn stuff onto them and not get info off them?

why dont you just ask xenocron to email you the bin?

yea thats what i was thinking...sooo if i have a burner it can read the chip too and upload it to my comp then i can change it and burn it back to it?

I just wasnt aware the burner would be able to read it too... i thought it would just burn new chips and thats it?

Nope they have the read function then you just save it has a bin file pretty simple stuff

Ever take apart that bottom end to see if that was the problem we talked about?
