I'm pretty sure if your engine can rev past 9000 rpm, you have enough green for a Standalone.

since when is uberdata/crome NOT standalone?

the plugin may be free, but what good does crome do me if i cant datalog? i dont exactly have the 150 to spare on the full version of crome. not right now anyway. i may spend it and get it eventualy, but for now ill stick to whats free.

Since it still runs off of the stock computer. "Standalone" means self sufficient. Not relying on anything else. Ex: AEM EMS..

only the hardware. fuel/timing and pretty much anything is able to be changed. to me thats standalone. it certainly isnt a piggyback, as it doesnt alter the signals being fed to the ecu.

"Pretty much anything? Is that why you can run multiple injectors? Is that why you can have an ignition based rev cut? Is that why you can add multiple output for controlling boost controls, N2O, Water injection? ...is that why you have gay ass dual tables for VTEC? Is that why you can run 1600cc injectors? ...is that why you can run any distributor with any number of spline son the reluctor?

Wow, I guess Crome/Uberdata is more powerful than I thought. ::)

Ya, I guess it is standalone if you don't consider the use of 100% Honda hardware, and 95% Honda ROM code... ::)
