Eek, I dunno. I'm by no means an expert at this. Maybe just make sure the values are the same across the fuel curve? Will that work?

oops, I thought it was a pr4, that's what he's got in there now, but we wanted to use a pm7 ecu, that's the one I socketed. Can I burn the same map on any ecu?? Or do I have to start with something from a pm7? I don't really understand that part.

go to www.------------- and find the 'basemapper deluxe' download. it's an excel sheet that will allow you fill out all of the properties and make your map for you, then just copy and paste the cells in to turbo edit. the exel program will allow you to put 240cc for injector size and scale the maps accordingly, then just paste it in ng48 and you'll be able to access all of the boost properties that weren't available with a stock rom. i don't mess with turbo edit too much, but i believe you'll also be able to then remove the speed limiter and activate the shift light and launch control as well

So you're saying the ng48 will work for anything?? That's what I'm a bit confused about. The same map I made thinking it was a pr4 will work on a pm7 ecu?

yeah, you can use different maps for different ecu's, the main difference between ecu's to run different engines are the fuel and timing maps, in this case you're programming the pm7 with pr4 maps, so it's running like a pr4

Okay, I think I've got it. The different ecu's access the same areas of the eprom for information it needs. This way, any map will work on any ecu.
