crome launch control on/off switch is coded to your A/C switch.

the logic: "your not gonna race with your A/C on are you?? "

except this leaves me wondering what i do if i have no A/C hahah

so i took his chip out (my old car) read it saved a copy and then opened it in crome, went to plugins> jc tools whatever its called and changed his launch from 4003 to 7324 same as his rev limit, re burn, car idles really low like its gona die.. change launch control to 9k try again, same thing.

try to re write old map to chip, getting errors, mess with stupid willems burner for 20min, make new jumper wire for eeprom slot, rewrite good, orig map runs normal.

its possibly it was a bad burn i guess, otherwise anyone know why it would act like that?

Yeah i've wondered that too, does anyone know where to find a writeup on how to do this, my car never came with A/C, I could wire in a switch no prob but where does it need to go to?

 

i would just look at the wiring diagram in a haynes or helms book. then just follow the schematic for a/c
