how to calculate how much fuel to run... and how to get that? fmu?
i want to run around 7 psi on my v6, i have no idea and i cant find much on how much more fuel pressure i will need to make... i want to go low budget on the whole kit and im looking towards an fmu... what does anyone recommend? a 10:1, 12:1 ? ... or is that even too much?... i just want to have a good idea of a setup before i get an a/f gauge and start to tune..., or is that the only way to know how much fuel to run so i dont lean out..?...
-thanks |

drop the FMU idea man you SHOULD be getting your ecu chipped instead works alot better runs like new... but if u wanna get a FMU then get the 12:1 cus i got a 12:1 on my civic 1.5 litre and it works fine just stumbles a little bit at idle...

ditch the fmu and get your ecu chipped with a basemap, i have seen many engines been fucked by lack of fuel management it costs just a little bit more but you'll be on the safe side

just get an adjustable FMU if your going that way, one you can change the discs out

IMHO, on a low boost setup like that, an FMU will do just fine. Id look for an adjustable rate-of-rise FMU like a Bell.
Id start with around 8psi of extra fuel pressure per psi of boost. Im sure that will get you pretty close, and go from there with a WB. I assume this is on a fuel injected engine? |

narrowband is a pretty light show. wideband tells you your A/F ratio.
Some people will say that you can tune with the narrowband gauge, but I just don't buy it. The narrowband is accurate at 14.7:1 and will tell you if you are running leaner or richer than that, but thats basically it. Dont waste your time or motor. |

alright so how much do widebands run? (price)... i wanna go cheap on this kit but i dont think this is something i should neglect

You can find used LM-1's for around $275
