Hondata problem.

Re:Hondata problem.
Start trouble shooting. That happened to me when Dave installed uberdata in my car. We ended up installing the hondata system Dave had in his car and I still got the CEL, so we knew it wasn't anything to do with my ECU. We traced it down to the resistor box wiring and after we fixed that no more CEL.
I would download the installation manual if you haven't already and see what is says about resolving problems... http://www.hondata.com/downloads.html

hondata getting stuck at 5k at startup
ok so I got my basemap to work, and I let it warm up and then I started playing with the throttle and it started revving to 5k. I shut it off and restarted it and same thing. and then I took off the negative battery terminal, and still the same thing.
