honda 5-wire o2 (wideband)

ok so its probably been asked before but the search button failed me again so anyway my question is that on the 5-wire honda o2 sensors they are like a wideband o2 right? so is it possible to hook this this up on my crx running a pm6 with TE obd 0 by the way to use as a cheap WB set-up? not sure if its possible or not but i figured if it can be done it will atleast let me run it for a little bit before tune and i get a real widband.

You need a WB controller for that type of sensor, like a tech edge.

could you link me to where i can get one. i have looked into the lc-1's m300 and the aem ugo and trying to save up for one of the above but just thought maybe it could work for now if its not expensive.

ok i found some tech edge stuff and dont really think it that great of a deal considering all the differnt equipment you have to buy. any other cheap solutions an i know the narrow bands arent super accurate but just how not accurate are we talking. would it be good enough for a base map?

I just sucked it up and bought an m-300, everytime i tried cheaping out on anything it ended up costing me more in the end (went through 3 datacables and like $50 before just buying a real one anyway.)

There is the DIY-WB. but it is kinda big and bulky, you have to build it and encase it, so it is really only good if you already own the sensor.

BTW: Do you know the cost on those sensors?

Ya, and if you can't find a used or free one like I did, the sesnor is worth more then a LC-1 complete unit!
