higher compression w/ boost = less feul?

im running bbka's bin on my z6 and we have the same setup, but i have high compression pistons and maybe a cam, my question is. since i have a higher compression enginedo i need to run less feul, it keeps fouling out the plugs running his maps ???

I would say you would run more gas with higher compression.

I bet it has something to do with his elevation compared to yours. (WA-CA)......assuming everything went good with the burn. :-\

its odd cuz i blew a headgasket, so i changed it, and now i was running the same bin as before and it is running hella rich, only now im running 50/50 100 octane and 91 octane. would that have anything to do with it?

higer compression requires higer octane

higher boost (more air) reqires more fuel

...but higher compression makes more power and more power requires more fuel.

Mabey you have one of his older maps that isnt tuned in part throttle. I wouldnt think your fouling out your plugs at WOT. Try to throw some fresh plugs in and do one rip then shut it off and pull over right away then check them?
