high impedance or low impedance, that is the question
is there a way to use a multi-meter to check the resistance on an injector to know if you need a resistor box? I just picked up some 650's and dont want to burn them up with my resistor box. I also dont want to remove the resistor box and burn up the ecu

Re: high impedance or low impedance, that is the question
Low- 1.7 to 3.0 ohms (Peak and Hold Driver/Injectors) you will need the box.
High- 10 to 16 ohms (Saturated Circuit Drivers/Injectors)No box |
Re: high impedance or low impedance, that is the question
thread jack :P
I'm switching to OBD1 on my CRX......Do I remove my resistor box? I'm still using the same DSM 450's just adding a PO6. |

Re: high impedance or low impedance, that is the question
Honda/Mitsu/Toy ECUs want to see a minimum of 10 ohms across the injector. If you do not have 10 ohms, insert 6.8 ohm Honda or Mitsu or Toyota resistor box inline pls kthx.
