Help with uberdata!!

I am putting a turbo kit together for my B16A2 OBD I. I looked into uberdata but i dont wanna do that stuff to my ECU b/c i dnt wanna mess it up. Will anyone here do what needs to be done to my ecu so it can be tuned?? i wanna run 10 PSI. Also do you have to tune the car with this on a dyno?? I'm a total noob to this uberdata so please bear with me!!

What ecu are you going to run Uberdata from? And yes you should get it tuned after the setup is up and running. Especially if yourgoing to have someone else program the ecu for you. Every car is different, so basically whoever you give the ecu to, is going to program a "base map" into it. You'll need to tune it from that base point.

Ok, so it's been chipped already... have you taken it apart at all (removed the covers)? If theres already a ZIF socket installed, all you need is someone to program an eeprom for you, and i'd be more than happy to do that for you.
If there is no ZIF, one should be installed for ease of chip removal/installation during tuning etc. I could also do that for you if you'd like.
Or, you could give it a shot yourself, it's not that difficult. Takes some practice, time, and a steady hand. Check out this site for some ecu chipping info if your interested in it. You might even want to concider picking up your own eeprom programmer so you'll be able to use uberdata on your own and tune your own ecu. :)

It has a black rectangular piece in the bottom right corner. it has a sticker on it where what looks like someone wrote Skunk2. Would i be better off going with vafc and 450's since i'm not going on an all out setup and just wanna run 10PSI??

Re:Help with uberdata!!

Yeah an AFC and 450's would be fine for 10 psi. Probably easier for a shop to dyno tune for you also because they won't need Uberdata to tune it.
