Help! TE chipped ecu

Ok. So I had my ecu (PR4) chipped with a base map. Well, I just finished my install (Pics. will be up soon) I decided to turn on my car with my stock ecu to check if everything went well and my car ran fine. Then , I put in my TE chipped ecu and turn my car on and my car runs and sounds like crap. It's way to rich. When I step on the gas the rpm's dont want to go up, it boggs and white smoke comes out. What I'm really trying to ask is if anyone would be kind enough to burn me a new chip with a working LS PR4 map. I will pay for shipping and what ever else. I really need you guys help. This is the last thing I need in order to boost.

Plase help and thanks in advance.

Sorry for the long post.

What bin did you run on the chipped ECU? Try a stock PR4 bin and see if that works.

check your timing.

what all do you have?

PR4s are scary. Turboedit's code wis designed for a PM6. It may run the car on a basic level, but there are enough design differences between the two ECUs that I would be very cautious using them. Xenocron documented some rather convincing AFR differences between the same program on PM6 vs PR4.

Re:Help! TE chipped ecu

spiceisler- I dont know what bin was used cause I had it chipped by Xenocron. Yes I did try a stock PR4 and the car runs good with it.

warrick- My timing is good it should be around 14-16 deg.
My set-up is B18A, turbular header, T3 57 trim, 255 walbro, 450's, AFPR, 5" tyrus intercooler.

blundar- Yeah Xenocron mentioned something to me about that but isn't johnny and a couple other guys runing a PR4 with TE?

Help!

Re:Help! TE chipped ecu

With the PM7 codebase, "TurboEDIT" runs fine on PR4s.. however, what is being said is that AFRs are a touch different. I.E., th ECU reads the values differently, and/or, reacts differently (speed wise), I don't know. It hasn't been determined.

..but, if you're tuning it yourself, a PR4 with a PR4, or PM7 codebase will run fine.

When you changed the ECU, did you change the injecters? What injecters is the chipped ECU set up to run?

It should be set to run 450's blue tops.
