Help!!! Please!!!

alright guys, i'm in the process of boosting my accord, and i'm so close to finishing i can taste it. here's my dilemma.

i took my chipped p06 ecu, and burned midniteracerx's lastest version of his accord turbo basemap onto it.

took the car for a little drive, and it will hardly idle. not only that, but the mother fucker just dies if i don't keep it. it wasn't in boost, but i could hear the turbo spooling. its ------- got my stumped, and i need to get this car back on the road.

any help is greatly appreciated. sorry if this is in the wrong forum. oh yeah, and here's my setup.

t3 60 trim .60/.48
open turbo, no downpipe yet
dsm 450's
chipped p06 ecu
cca front mount ic
blitz OG BOV
homemade charge pipes

Re:Help!!! Please!!!

what is your base fuel pressure at?
have you tried other basemaps yet?
does it seem as if you are dumping mad amounts of fuel out?
did you do anything else to the engine while you were getting the turbo on? like unplug the iacv?

Re:Help!!! Please!!!

base fuel pressure is at 42
tried 2 f=different basemaps, they are very hard to find for accords
as far as dumping out massive amounts of fuel, i don't know
nothing else was done to the enigine before the turbo.
where's the IACV located at, i didn't unplug anything, but it wouldn't help to check it.

also, when i drove it, it wanted to die on me, it didn't seem like it wanted to boost, i have to double check my fittings on the wastegate.

this ------- thing has got me stumped

Re:Help!!! Please!!!

did you run it with the map that i gave it to you with? how did that run?

Re:Help!!! Please!!!

i tried that map before turbo, and it went into limp mode at 4k rpms, and idled shitty.

if you could kevin, email me a copy of the map you sent me at hookups81618@yahoo.com

i'll try that again. also, i'm pretty sure that my alternator is shot, so i'll be putting in a new one tomorrow.

disconnect the vaccuum line going to your egr valve, that was messing up my idle. when u burned the map, did u change the injector settings to 450cc?? they default back to 240cc so you have to change them. i dunnot just try it

limp mode at 4k eh? wouldn't by any chance be launch control do ya think :P you will never get a perfect idle unless you have spent time tuning your car with a wideband, period, it's just really not that feesable. yeah, i'll email the one i used to you.

Re:Help!!! Please!!!

well, maybe it wasn't limp mode, i don't know. it seemed to me like it hit a wall at 4k in every gear.

its not like i was stomping on the gas. i'm pretty sure i need a new alternator, because the car dies while i'm driving it. gonna go get me a new one tonight, and try that, hopefully it runs then.

it wasn't in boost at all, i have a few small leaks on my charge pipes, so i'm pretty sure i didn't ---- anything up. yet :-\

your forever having problems with my map lol. When you had it running n/a it was fine after you got it out of limp mode right? Are you sure they just aren't bad burns??? Cause my map is fine and as u know plenty of ppl are using it. And the map i released didn't have FTL enabled...atleast it shouldn't have...hey wait...maybe it did and your speedo doesn't work???

Re:Help!!! Please!!!

everythiing was working fine before, i think it might have to do with the amount of heat in my engine bay running the open turbo. i'm pretty sure its getting to my alternator.

yeah, no ----. you don't know how many people have asked for ftl to be set and then tell me that it won't disengage, they forget to tell me their vss doesn't work :P

Oh yeah, that reminds me......

:P

How does that work with the A/C switch? I've heard you can turn it on and off with the A/C switch, but what determines that? Is it in the chipping or is it an option you can turn on and off? ???

Re:Help!!! Please!!!

it has to be set when you program the chip, but you have to either a) still have your a/c hooked up, or b) hard wire the a/c plug on your wiring harness, or c) install a toggle switch to pin out b5 on the ecu that completes a ground when you close it.

Re:Help!!! Please!!!

So even if it isn't "set" or whatever it can still be turned on and off if I ground b5?

no, b5 is the a/c switch, that's just a way to turn it on and off if you don't have a/c, but want to use the a/c feature to activate it. if it was set for a/c activate, and you didn't have a/c or ground b5, then it would never activate, and if you don't choose a/c activate, then it's on all the time, the only way to disengage it is to reach the set mph.
