FTL - TurboEdit has it

FTS...ok, how much do you really use that when you arent at the track

VTEC - I can do VTEC with TE, yeah its not 2 maps...but who cares, still works same really

Live Edit - yeah I have to buy a $175 piece of equipment to Live Edit...and actually ROMulator does work, Parker just needs to tweak it a little and RTP Board support ($45) WILL be added soon.

yada, yada -

Oh how bout with TE:

I save myself from buying
- new ecu (40-175 depending on if its a P06 or P72)
- a conversion harness ($100 - $125)
- a used OBD1 distributor ($50 - $75)
- a 4-wire O2 sensor (can be found cheaply at a junkyard)

I think I'd rather take the $200 - $300 and buy more go fast parts...not to mention TE has great support for the 2.5 Bar Map sensors now.

How's 3 Bar working with Uber these days

pretty good actually i've tuned a few obd0 cars with turbo edit (i'm sure not as many as you), and uber data, uber data is much easier to get a good tune with, and all of the guys who i've talked to who used to be obd0 running/tuning turbo edit, then convert up to obd1, say they will never go back. every car i've done with te, it seems to be have an unforgiving rich spot that i can never get rid of on tip in?? maybe it's just my lack of experience with it. either way, i've used both and am partial to uber for a reason, it owns. btw, romulator is close, but not quite rtp te is definitely the best obd0 rom editor, but by far the best rom editor (not saying that uber is either). jason has done great things and come along way with te, and i'm sure it will only get better, but uber's been around a lot longer and had a lot more support and testing, thus putting it where it is right now.

How do you figure?

TE was doing live updates with ROMulator a year before Uber...its just there are problems that havent been hashed out since Parker has been busy.

I'm guessing this is because the OBD0 rom still thinks it's controlling 240cc injectors as far as tps enrichment is concerned.
