hey all ive just been wiring up a mates car with an apexi safc2 his car is a honda civic 5 dr hatch uk spec with a
b18c A engine the ecu is a p9k-e11 J1. the thing is there is no rpm wire on the ecu,
it looks exactly the same as a b16a2 ecu but there is no rpm wire to conect to!!
can anyone help or know what to do!

then you need to catch a tach signal at the distributor on the ignitor wire, on my car b16a obd-0 its on the 2 pin plug, the one on the right side, not sure where it is on that distro. you need to get a manual and look for the ignitor wire off the distributor and tap it there, but i gaurantee theres a place at the ecu to catch the tach signal, your just not looking in the right spot

 

You can also get the signal from the dead end plug on the drivers side wiring harness. Blue wire, with a female connector.
