A hack just allows you to hack into the factory ecu and trick the map sensor voltage to run a bigger injector. Now i dont know that much about the afc or vafc hack. Im running my b16 with a smc plus and 450 dsm injectors. With the smc you can idle and run the big *** injectors in diffrent rpm ranges.You can tune diffent fuel setting through out the rpms.Im running 9psi and my settings right know are.
idle= -34
1-2k= -38
2-3k= -37
3-4k= -36
4-5k= -35
5-6k= -34
6-7k= -32
7-8k= -30

 

nice how do you like the SMC? I am almost 100% set on going that route now. I just want to find out what owners think of them and if the 450 injectors run well.

 

I have had no problems so far.
