Default HELP: Greddy black box?

Hey guys, anyone know how the little greddy black box works? I pulled out what looked to be a black box from a turbo rsx-s I bought and removed the turbo kit. When I removed the box, the car feels like it's in limp mode (won't rev passed 5000rpm and falls on it's face, no vtec, burns rich...etc).

The box said "Ulitmate Racing Fuel Control Unit" and it hooked up to NEP (RPM) and one wire went to the green/red of the map sensor and another to the green/red of the map sensor input on the ecu.

I can't figure out why the car is acting like this after I remove the box and put the green/red wires back together.

Help!
