Help Ecu Chip Not Doing What It Says!!
 

Okay here is the problem I baught a ecu chip fro my PR4 ecu and it said redline to 8000rpm. I had it installed by a certified sodder. I started the car and it does rev past 4000rpm but does not hit 8000rpm it redlines at 7000rpm still. Any ideas whats wrong?

maybe you should have had someone that worked on electronics install the chip...
I dont know who a certified sodder is.... he sounds evil
